Revolution

Revolution is when it rains in July
In a part of the world where this doesn’t usually apply;
Where summer is summer,
Rain is improper,
Though in winter,
Snow might be your daily supper.

The trees gasped for breath as the rain poured,
A surprise shower is something they adored,
Reviving their being, drenching them in laughter,
The cool wind slapping their lofty posture,

Freedom

The bird chirped on the tree,
Blissful to be free
After long captivity
That lasted till infinity.

Its heart was full of rage
In that golden cage,
Many times out of breath,
Contemplating death.

Suddenly there was a shot;
Scaring the bird a lot,
It flew far away
Yearning only for play.

Yet death was no more the game,
Instead, the bird longed for a dame,
To continue life’s [...]

People

They come and they go,

Sometimes a friend, other times a foe;

Every time they come in your way,

You either smile or pray.

You meet them at work or at home

Because that’s the usual and the norm.

You feel surrounded, you feel blessed,

But at times, you are not impressed;

You smile, you shrug,

Indifferent, you want no hug;

Your feelings, you try [...]

Poem: Spring, sunbeams out of cucumbers…

Poetry is something which I write

Whether relaxed or in a fight,

My ideas spring from everywhere,

And at times from nowhere,

Sometimes they come in imaginary numbers
